Angel MedFlight has partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in its search to find a cure for juvenile diabetes. We are excited to be a part of this wonderful cause that benefits the more than 21 million children and adults in this country who suffer from diabetes.
Angel MedFlight will be a major sponsor of the upcoming Walk to Cure Diabetes to be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Tempe Town Lake at 8 a.m. (Walk begins at 9 a.m.) Michael Ward, a member of the Angel MedFlight legal team, has personally participated in this walk the past three years and recommends being a part of it. “It is actually fun, in addition to providing a level of satisfaction that you’re engaged in a really great cause,” says Ward. “Everyone who is able to participate needs to be a part of this great event.” Angel MedFlight plans to design T-shirts for the event and hopes that you, your family, friends, and pets (lots of dogs on the Walk) will all participate. If you have any questions about the Walk feel free to ask Michael, or go to walk.jdrf.org. In addition to being a worthy cause, this event is going to be a great way for Angel MedFlight to connect with its community.
