As the holiday season approached, Children First Academy, a Phoenix-area school for homeless children, asked its 312 students what they wanted for Christmas. The students requested a place where they would be able to choose a present for their parents.
Angel MedFlight donated funds and teamed up with HOPE Worldwide, an international charity that brings hope and changes the lives of the world’s most poor, sick and suffering, to answer the Children First Academy students’ request.
With the funds donated by Angel MedFlight, the HOPE Project was able to provide a ‘store’ where each child was able to shop and select two gifts to give to their parents. Angel MedFlight employees and Santa Claus helped the students shop and wrap their presents.
