Angel MedFlight medically transports brain injury survivors across the country and around the world in their rehabilitation journeys. We see firsthand the impact of brain injury and the importance of specialized treatment in recovery.
We are honored to sponsor the August 4, 2011, Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Arizona Chapter meeting featuring the Brain Injury Association of Arizona (BIAAZ).
BIAAZ executive director Mattie Cummins will present Understanding the Journey of Brain Injury, centering on the most common causes of injury, symptoms, prognosis and the journey of recovery, including transitions of care, specialized facilities, long-term care, and other essential resources and supports.
Committed to improving the lives of individuals with brain injuries and their families, the BIAAZ provides brain injury specific information, online resources and other support programs. The BIAAZ also strives to prevent brain injuries through ongoing education and advocacy efforts.
