It’s National Nurses Week: Thank a Nurse!

May 6 – 12 is National Nurses Week and we’re wishing nurses around the world a week filled with appreciation and recognition for your year-round healthcare contributions.

Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about health conditions, and offer guidance and support to patients and their family members.

A vital part of the healthcare continuum, nurses practice in all medical settings: hospitals, nursing homes, medical offices, community health centers, schools, clinics and of course – air ambulance!

Angel MedFlight would like to send a very special thank you out to our own RN flight coordinators, critical care flight nurses and RN outreach team members for your dedication to patient care and advocacy. We couldn’t do what we do without you!

If you know a nurse – or if you’re seeing a nurse for an appointment this week – say thanks and help brighten the day of an incredible medical professional.
