The Value of Air Medical Transport – From the Family’s Perspective

At Angel MedFlight, patient care and safety always come first. Our highly-trained, flight-experienced critical care flight nurses and paramedics provide specialized patient care throughout each Bedside-to-Bedside® transport.

While our main focus is the patient, we see each medical flight as an opportunity to make an impact on others who need it most – the patient’s family.

An air ambulance transfer can be a very stressful time for a patient’s loved ones so we make it a priority to not only provide exceptional patient care, but to also reduce the stress of family members in any way we can.

We accomplish this by taking care of the little things, such as arranging catered meals for family members traveling with the patient, and by handling the big things, like insurance claims. It’s our experience and our belief that the less a family member has to worry about logistics or insurance and the more they can focus on their loved one, the better it is for everyone involved.

We received this incredible note from the spouse of a patient we recently transported. All of us here at Angel MedFlight are grateful that we could help ease this family’s stress during a serious medical situation.

Dear Jeremy,

Thank you so much for your well-trained and caring team as well as your air evacuation service that we were provided with. We appreciate your kindness and generosity while dealing with our insurance company. As you well know, in these crisis situations, every single bit of compassion & kindness are not only a special “find” but also a relief for us as a family.

You and your team have to be one of the nicest companies I have ever personally dealt with, and by far the most generous.

What you are doing changes lives. I’m sure you are aware of this, but I want you to know that you have touched our lives in a way we will never forget. You have been a true blessing to us all!

Thank you again,

K. D.
