Decked out in sparkling silver and black and flanked by two Ferrari’s, she was the star of the show. Angel MedFlight’s Learjet 35 recently flew from Scottsdale, Ariz., to Palm Beach, Fla. to be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson.

This classic 1975 Learjet was thrown quite a party.

Those who stopped by the VIP tent set up for N135AJ saw all  the special attention she got. Television personalities April Rose and Ralph Sheheen from Fox Sports and the SPEED channel came by and interviewed Angel MedFlight Public Relations Director Jennifer Vogel and Director of Flight Operations Brandon Kearns.

Jennifer told them about the VIP tour experience set aside for interested buyers of our Learjet 35. If you don’t end up owning the jet and taking a ride on it, this tour was the next best thing.

The tour started at Barrett-Jackson where two high-fashion models escorted interested buyers to a Mercedes limousine. While seated in the plush limo, they watched a video of the fully-refurbished Learjet 35. Considering a bid on a classic jet can be hard work so interested buyers were offered a choice of champagne, beer or soft drinks.

The limo then took them to Palm Beach International Airport and out to the tarmac where the Learjet 35 was parked. After another round of refreshments at the VIP tent, interested buyers got a guided tour of the jet from our pilot, who answered a range of questions.

In case you didn’t know, this Learjet 35 can be configured for any mode of travel. It’s been equipped with all the medical gear necessary for air ambulance service but it can still be used as a passenger plane. Flight Operations Director Brandon Kearns says it takes about 30 minutes to reconfigure from air ambulance to passenger jet.

Kearns told SPEED Channel’s Ralph Sheheen about logistics and hammered out all the details buyers might want to know about the jet’s history and back story.  Kearns says “it’s a 1975, but don’t let that fool you. As far as the airplane’s condition, it’s one of a kind.”

Kearns says “after researching the market, we quickly realized what we had. We had the best Learjet out there. Really, a phenomenal piece of equipment.”

Last weekend at Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach was phenomenal and all of us want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our beautiful Learjet 35 and Angel MedFlight services.
