From the Valley of the Sun to the Mission Valley. Angel MedFlight, the worldwide leader in air ambulance service, has jetted from our headquarters in Scottsdale, Ariz., to San Diego, CA to attend the American Case Management Association’s national conference.
The ACMA event is the largest national conference focused solely on Hospital/Health System Case Management. And it’s a great opportunity for us at Angel MedFlight to educate case managers about our unparalleled air ambulance service.
According to ACMA, its mission is “to be THE association for Hospital/Health System Case Management professionals. It’s goals are to provide innovative professional development services, create new opportunities for networking and influence the policies, laws and other issues related to the practice of Case Management.” As part of its One Touch Promise® Angel MedFlight works with case managers and physicians at both the sending and receiving facilities so all those involved are well informed.
Jackie Martinez from our Business Development department is part of the Angel MedFlight team attending the conference. She says that ACMA’s national conference is a great opportunity for Angel MedFlight to establish new relationships with potential clients while strengthening relationships with existing ones. “It’s very important to attend the ACMA national conference to support case managers nationwide. We want to let case managers know that we are here to simplify their workload.”
Angel MedFlight, a platinum-level sponsor of the event, will also be an exhibitor and attendees are urged to stop by the Angel MedFlight booth. Look for the Angel MedFlight team decked out in their sharp flight suits and have your photo taken with them.
Martinez says Angel MedFlight will have a number of enticing giveaways with the grand prize being a trip to the 2014 ACMA national conference (site not yet determined at press time). Angel MedFlight will also be giving away designer tote bags, throw blankets, VISA gift cards, premium cosmetics in addition to various other items.
Angel MedFlight will be telling case managers at the conference about our new “Call Us First” campaign. “The ‘Call Us First’ campaign would ideally make us the first option to call in medical transport. We’ll do everything we can to make the Case Managers job easier while providing premium care to the patients we transport.” Martinez says.
Angel MedFlight expects to see a lot of familiar faces at the conference and hopes to meet many more new ones. “We attend regional ACMA conferences all over the United States but it’s exciting to go to the national conference and strengthen the relationships we’ve created at the regional event,” says Martinez.
Angel MedFlight has always had a strong presence at the national conference but Martinez says “we’re expecting our most successful year yet.”
The event runs April 8-11 at the Manchester Hyatt in San Diego.
