Angel MedFlight is honored to partner with the Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA) to offer scholarships that encourage the spirit of dedication of aviation students as well as further their academic pursuits. AZBAA is an association that works to promote business aviation interests in the State of Arizona, enhance communications and represent the safety and professional livelihood of its members. According to the National Business Aviation Association, business aviation employs 1.2 million professionals and contributes over $150 billion annually to the US economy, including more than 10,000 jobs and about $900 million in primary economic activity in Arizona.

Representatives from Angel MedFlight recently attended the AZBAA’s 2nd Annual Safety Day in Scottsdale, Arizona, not only to support the importance of continued safety efforts within the industry, but to also award our Scholarship for Excellence in Aviation to Clayton Marr. Clayton demonstrates tremendous leadership both academically and within the community. He is pursuing a double major at Arizona State University and working toward obtaining a bachelor of science in both professional flight and air transportation management. Clayton is expected to graduate from Arizona State in the Spring of 2014. His commitment, resourcefulness and academic achievement tell the story of a dedicated and passionate student; we applaud him for his accomplishments and look forward to seeing his achievements.

We are thankful to the AZBAA for allowing us to be involved in this wonderful scholarship program. We believe strongly in giving back to future generations, and giving back to the Arizona community, while continuing to promote business aviation. Angel MedFlight proudly supports the Arizona Business Aviation Association.
